Some of the sunsets remind me of Montana's fires this year. That smoke was really buggering people's lungs, but of course there were fires throughout the west. Small smoke particulates are a real health concern, perhaps worse than cigarettes.

My brother and I just got permission to hunt 700 acres in Round Up MT. It hasn't been hunted in 5 years. Any of you guys live near there and have any idea what the hunting is like in the general area. He's turning 50 this coming year and I was thinking of arranging a bowhunt for him and I. As far as I can tell from Google Earth, no ag, mix of terrain elevation, has open plains, aspens, no water sources but might have a stream or two. Real tough scouting from a computer :)

Why Montana??? No shortage of majestic wild places.....and there is something I can hunt every day of the year!!! No off season.... but it doesn't allow any new transplants anymore, so y'all who don't already live here can only come and visit.... :)

The next generation is the most important.
The next generation is the most important.
I live in Montana for the quality of life and Montana gives my family and myself the best hunting seasons. I love it, when I can go out hunt something 12 months out of a year here in Montana. I am raising my kids to feel the same. My 13 year old son lives and breathes bowhunting and hounds.
