Daayyyuummm!

I saw where Mark Drury was testing the newest Rage Trypan (sp?) and he described it has having a 3" to 4" "slap" cut when the blades are at their widest point. Of course, he only got about 12" of penetration on the buck he shot, but as it ran off, it was spraying blood everywhere.

Maybe thats the "slap cut" in your photo.

How'd you get that deer to swallow a grenade? :)

Can you also take a pic a little further back? It's hard to tell how big it really is. Could be a 1.5" cut with the lens right in the hole it's hard to tell.

Forest, is that a cottontail shot with a judo point? :) Looks like a massive wound channel but a little further back perspective would help us appreciate it more! Congrats to your son!

What's the exit hole look like?

From: Treeline

Pretty gruesome...

Sounds like it was very effective and no exit hole required!

I do like putting big holes in critters:) Those mechanicals are just not very effective with my equipment. Have to use a different approach - the old Snuffer's are still one of my favorites!

where is the exit hole ?

Obviously needs to kick his poundage up a bit. 84 is a bit light when you're 20 years old:)

What model Rage?

Did she have to be pulled out of the river?

Only 84 lbs? Is he the weakest in the youngling bunch? Cutting it close there skipper. What kind of outfit are you training there? LOL

Brotsky no lie I once shot a cottontail at 10 feet with a judo point out of a 60+ pound bow and it bounced off it and it ran away. My jaw dropped.

Entrance hole from a Rage extreme cut-on-contact - through and through, broke a rib going out - the exit hole was about the same size - my buddy and I searched all over for the arrow, never did find it. I guessed her at 30 yards, she was only 20, thus the high hit.

84# 500 grain arrow you would get a pass through with a blunt...... Sorry didn't get a pic of exit hole.
