Thought I'd share some pics of a project I did this morning. I've found the pins on my Fast Eddie XL are too bright. I was using electrical tape to reduce the light...but I have a 3D printer and could make something cooler with little effort.
What I came up with is a lightweight snap-on design. It has two series of position detents for reduceing the light a little...or a lot. It took 30 minutes to design and 20 minutes to make. Fits very well. The rib in the outside is for structural rigidity and to ensure a snug fit with no rattling.

Nice job. I'd say you could sell a few of those to guys who have the same issue. I don't find the spott Hogg's overly bright, which is why I like them.

Somewhat related question. How do you like the flo green sight ring on the pin guard?

I like it especially in low light. I actually just got back from shooting and tried the regular single ring for kicks. I put this one back on.
