Just had a 4pt and a spike go behind stand. No shots. Too many branches back there. They sure dis look tasty!

Well the first swing of the season.. and a miss. Right under one of the smaller bucks heart. Came running from the direction he went earlier. Stopped at 32yds. I drew back, he stomped(must have seen me) I released and watched the nocturnal go right under him. FML moment. After the miss he did a few slow 30-40yd circles trying to figure out what the hell the noise was. Then wandered away slowly. I think I Rushed it. Should have taken a few more seconds to gather myself before releasing. Going back in shortly to the same tree . Mornings are always active here.
