Heading back into state land where the deer have gone MIA. But im going to tickle some antlers together today and see if I can put some meat in the freezer.

He ran onto private land. Had something walk 30 yards from my stand before it was light. Its on today! Im going to grab climber on lunch and sit by where he went in. Crunchy, cool, and nice breeze.

Go get um pass I stayed home today after last nights wind debacle. Sleet and prob close to 35 mph gusts it got nuts in there and me I haven’t seen a deer in 11 sits motivation is dwindling. But it’s almost that time of yr so I’ll be back at it tmrw. Today I’m gonna live through u

I usually see deer on windy days. Dont lose hope. Never give up!!! I saw 14 deer in my first 6-7 sits . I have not seen one on stand since. Ive been out 14-15 times I did a very light rattle sequence at 815. Ill do another at 915. Might still be too early. What a great morning to be out. Conditions couldn't be any better. Where are the deer?!?

Well nothing yet. Ill give it another 30-45 min. Then going to check/move cams. Head home ,warm up, eat, and grab my climber. Hopefully be back in a tree by 2 near where the deer left the property this morning.

Just saw a doe and two youngings running around a Windsor neighbor Hood. This was at 9.

I hope so. I'm in some oaks with tons of acorns but if they prefer greens tonight, my son is set up over a hay field. Just not a ton of sign.

Nothing but a fox and house cat today. Saw 3 on the 2 mile drive home.

Saw over 20 all does in different fields but 10 in one right next to rd was nice to stop and actually just watch them
