Hey all. First time posting a live hunt this year and I’m not even in CT. Actually haven’t hunted at all yet in CT this fall due to work and family obligations.
But I’m in my favorite place in the world and hunting so how can I complain. And when I get back next week, I’m primed to spend some time hunting my property in barkhamsted.

Both the best bow spot, will be much better when I come back in November to rifle hunt but I have an apple tree to the east and a very old oak to the north. Have good pictures of deer visiting both. A couple of decent bucks. Hopefully one will make a mistake this weekend.

No action yet, well except for a bald eagle catching a rabbit in the field. That was pretty cool.

That is a cool sight to see. I saw one grab a trout from a pond before awesome birds. Good luck area looks sweet!
