Lazy F Bar outfitters??????

Looking into booking an early season archery mule deer hunt with Lazy F Bar Outfitters in the Gunnison Basin. They've been in business for 50+ year but only have one review here. Can anyone with personal experience give me your opinion??

I had researched them and all the reports were positive and was going to hunt with them but the 2008 winterkill hit the Gunnison basin. The guy just flat up told me not to come because most of the mature bucks had died and that he wasn’t going to take any deer hunters for a couple years. I respected him for that. He could have just told me to come on out and took my money knowing the mature bucks got hammered.

My Dad went there 20 yrs ago for elk. Over the last 20 years I have known numerous guys who have used Lazy F bar for muledeer and elk and all have good things to say about them. I am going first Rifle Elk with them this fall and will report back after that.
