I set my blind up on the bottom of a hardwood hillside that this bird and four jakes were using when it rained.Threw the light drizzle I yelped softly and the birds responded from above.Finally after talking back and forth with them for about a half hour this two year old gobbler strutted to within ten yards of my blind.Despite a perfect vital hit he still flew 150 yards to the bottom of the hill.He had a 9 inch beard, 3/4 inch spurs and weighed 16 pounds.
