It was the first day of rifle season, deer were running scared all over the place. I still hadn't tagged out so I had my bow in hand, decked in orange. Just before dark, this 8- pointer came across the path I was watching, checking a doe who had just passed through. He wasn't a record class buck, but seeing a mature buck of any class after the rifles start shooting is rare from my experience. I took the shot, the arrow deflected and I hit him back. He ran off, I let him lie over night and found him dead the next morning about 125 yards from where I shot him. Details about Tony Felich 's huntHunt DetailsDate Killed - 11/30/2005
