This was my very first time hunting with a Bow. Brian spent 2 hours with me, teaching me the basics of shooting and then set me in a tree stand. At 5pm this black boar walked out. Since it was the first time I had been 20ft in tree stand, I knew I had to be very deliberate and careful. I did my best not to make any noise and make all of my moves very slowly. The boar walked directly under my stand and was sniffing around. I thought he might spook, but then he walked right over to the fee we had put out on the ground. When he first walked over to the feed his back was to me so I drew back. Right as I drew back, he turned broadside to me. I was not yet aiming at his so I was afraid he was going to see me lower my bow, but he didn't. I held the 20yrd pin right on him and let out a slow breath. I heard a thwap! and knew I hit him good.
