I spotted him , made sure the wind was right and put the stalk on him. I bugled him up to 40yrds and stuck one through his lungs. He ran about 120yrds and piled up. I was very happy because the hunt/kill happened on the weekend of my b-day!!! he green scored 254 after 10 inchs of deductions. I don't think that is to bad for a 5x5 Roosevelt elk.
