I was setup by 4pm 20 ft high with the perfect wind. At 4:15 I spotted a bobcat working behind me, but wasn't able to get video of it before he disappeared. At 6:30pm I heard deer coming and saw a little 4 point and a doe working to me, I turned the video cam on and tried to get some footage. The doe gave me a slightly quartering towards shot, so being at full draw with the doe in camera frame I let it fly, tucking the arrow tight to the shoulder. She only lived 4-5 seconds and made it about 75yards. Nice to get some meat on opening day! She is all cut up and put away... just need to grind the burger! Used the N.A.P. Kill-Zone.. I love these 2 blade Broadheads. Video to come! First time taking a deer on film, It adds a whole new element to the hunt!
