This buck came in trailing a doe. I was in one section of a very large tree and she was out of my view on the other side and the buck would not leave her. My first shot the trigger misfired and my second shot I peaked and shot under him. I did get a third shot and I hit him in the shoulder. We could not find the buck and our neighbor found him a couple weeks later near a swamp.
