I was archery hunting on state land with my bow in the morning and at first light I had a doe come in. I was watching her feed for 40 mins around my stand when I caught movement behind her. I looked and saw a buck coming in closer. I had no idea it was a mature 10 point until he stood broadside at 29 yards! He looked smaller out at 45 yards and did not look like a shooter until he got close. I made a great shot on the buck watched him run 70 yards and watched him tip over from the treestand! What a great day to be a bow hunter! This buck had no teeth and is at least 5 years old!
