I had just done some light rattling,grunting and this buck came by at about 35-40 yards and walked over a dam to a pond.Im sure he was thristy as it was 86 degrees that day! I was just getting ready to grunt again when another buck stepped out to my left about 35 yards away and begain pawing the ground!About this time the 1st buck came to the top of the dam and begain rubbing on a steel fence post!lol Then he walked down to the 2nd buck and they locked up an begain pushing each other around,the smaller of the 2 had enough and walked away! The bigger buck then walked right to me and I shot him at about 25 yards!
