Classic cruising/rut hunt. This beast came trotting down trail looking for a new doe, no doubt. I thought my shot was better than it proved to be. When I checked the arrow, I could tell it hit back enough for me to back out and retrieve the next day. it went 400 yards before bedding and dying.
