Spot and stalk, post rifle. Was not as big as many I had passed earlier but this was a rare opportunity on a spot I don't normally hunt. Had a friend trying to thin out bucks around his place where they were destroying his trees. Had this guy fresh off of a fight seeking some yearlings that must have been in or very close. I was able to put a stalk on him. didn't have my binoculars and did not know he was broken. One side was freshly broken, I think from the crash, hope to return to find after season but either way a great memory and bucket list method off the list.
