My cousin from Arkansas came out to Arizona to hunt javelina with me. We were sitting a dirt tank where I had harvested my javelina last year. At about 10:15 am, he left the blind to grab a quick bite. Having seen deer there around 10:30 in the past, I decided to stay. About ten minutes after he left, I saw movement in the trees. This buck came down to the water, walked out on the ice and presented me with a 50 yard shot. After rejoining my cousin and waiting an hour, we found the buck about 75 yards from the tank. the buck has an outside spread of 30 1/2 inches.
