I was slipping threw the timber silently thanks to a few days of rain, when I noticed this buck under a pine tree. He was holding statue still and I acted like I didn't see him while I prepared for the shot. When I came to full draw I found him with my 40 yard pin and sent an arrow zipping through him. I waited a long 30 min.cause it started to snow and I was worried it would cover the blood trail. I found him a few minutes later and was shocked to find that my 30 1/2 inch arrow almost perfectly matched his spread. This was my first bow kill after 10 years of trying.
