It was the opening day of WA late archery season, the day before thanksgiving--and it wasn't raining for a change! This spike was following a doe. They both ran around for a few minutes, which I captured on video, before he finally gave me a 15-yd standing shot from my treestand. He ran about 100 yds to the bottom of a steep ravine, which gave me a workout. He completes my "mini-slam," an elk, a whitetail, and a blacktail the same year! Happy Thanksgiving!
