ACR PLB Terrafix 406 Beacon for sale

I have an ACR beacon for sale. It is the TerraFix 406. It weighs 8 ounces. I tested it one time when I first got it. I have used it 2-3 weeks a year since July 2008 when I purchased it. The label on the make says the battery should be replaced in April 2013. I got a newer, smaller version. Note this beacon is cheaper in the long run since the new batteries last 10 years vs. only 5 for the newer small units. You need to register the beacon in your name if you purchase it. Do the research, this beacon is your best bet in an emergency situation. Comes with the original box. $220 TYD
