Has anyone moose hunted with Wilderness Air in Ontario?

Wilderness Air in Vermilion Bay. I live 1 mile from them. They have a very good reputation. They fly in to some very remote areas. Some tent camps, some outpost cabins. They hunt the prime rut in late September. I would recommend them. You have a choice of guided or unguided. They fly over the hunting area the day of arrival to show you the lay of the land. Start hunting the day after.

I guided for this outfitter for 14 seasons in his arctic fishing camps which he sold last year. Good operator, excellent planes and equipment. Also sounds like a good moose area, have talked to several of his repeat moose clients (mostly gun hunters)that go there annually. I have been asked to guide moose hunters there, would really like to go but always too busy with bird, bear and deer hunters at home. His hunt prices seem very reasonable and they are highly experienced outfitters that have a loyal clientele.

Two thumbs up from Spike, a neighbor, and Rob Nye. That should cover it! Book the hunt.
