Looking at booking an archery moose hunt in Ontario for 2015. Is there anything in particular I should be looking for in an outfitter? Looks like there is a large price range and others have mentioned something about a trophy fee at the border?

Trophy fee is actually an export permit which is $35.00. Just make sure who you book with is a moose outfitter who has actually been successful with bow hunters. A few moose outfitters in Ontario are unprepared for bow hunters. Check out Thousand Lakes Outposts.
Also you can ask sbshindler where he shot his huge Ontario moose last fall.

Strut Nut Thanks for asking this. I have been trying to find a quality moose outfitter in Ontario for years and could never find information from any source. Let me know what you learn please.
