Hi folks I have two archery bull tags available for this fall archery drive in hunt from a cancellation. It will be at a good rate. The hunt is North of Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Is it mandatory that a non-resident have a guide to hunt moose in Ontario?

No, there are a few areas where you need a guide but most of the WMU's you don't.

Living in S. Dak., can I moose hunt the Thunderbay area without a guide? And what about dragging a Lund boat and canoe to the area? Thanks for any info ya'll can put out.

You need to go through an outfitter, but you do not need a guide.

That is correct you do need to go through and outfitter buy you can bring your own boat and canoe as well as an ATV to access more remote areas.
