Late Season Moose?

My dad is going to be in Newfoundland next year and is looking at witch season to go. He can pick between Oct. 21-28th of The 28th threw November 4th. I think the later the better as the bulls seem to be out all day trying to fatten up after the winter. Just curious on thoughts of guys who maybe hunted late. thanks

I have been 3 times. I would take the 1st week its closer to a rutting bull and some calling. Calling in bulls is by far my favorite hunt.
