Talk about fast, got my moose back today from my September 18th hunt in Newfoundland and couldn't be Happier
That looks awesome. Great location.
Very nice indeed!
That fellow in the background of the first pic has one huge cocktail mug!! haha
Good luck, Robb
Outstanding bull and sweet mount!
Wow it looks great there! The colors and everything just fit.
Beautiful moose! What outfitter?
Bob
I see you're having a small cocktail to celebrate:) Enjoy! C
Thanks alot guys, the gentleman in the background was the taxidermist and the outfitter was Bob Efford
Excellent! Congratulations on a fine Canadian Moose.
Congrats. That's fast turn around.
How did you get it up? I have an elk and similar space but man you just can't use a ladder. Was wondering how you did it?
I will get a second ladder but was wondering if you did something different.
Nice looking mount. What was the spread on you bull?
Very nice!
Sage X2!
I wish we would have videoed the process when my taxi buddy & I hung mine up! We both needed a cocktail after getting it up!
t-roy glad to hear that because my wife and I thought we could do it fairly easy. WRONG!!!
I'm still trying to figure it out without buying another ladder but I just don't think it's possible (at least safely).
Nice mount and you have some guts hanging it over a door like that. I'm afraid to hang a small framed picture behind my bed. You must be very confident in your hanging skills ! L.O.L. Sword of Damocles comes to mind !
NICE!
I am hoping to find an outfitter this spring to get my 2017 Newfie moose hunt set. We have a sports show coming up in April.
TheLamma - Ironbound or ConneRiver. Wouldn't go past those 2 - lots of great reviews for both. I went with Ironbound - awesome.
great moose troy, congrats.
mind sharing how big the moose is, and how much wall space you need (ie height of the mount from brisket to highest point of the rack) and how far off the wall it sticks approximately?
thanks
Sage,
Ironbound will be at the show. Thanks for the tip.
hopefully you used a big lag screw into a stud.
You should try hanging a Bison Mount- every time I have moved it I end up covered up in hair.
Amazing how big them doggies are. Bet you get a kick out of some household visitor reactions. "Where's Bullwinkle, uh try..."
Congrats! Great moose!!!
