Alaska Moose 2016 Question

I have booked with Virgil Umphenour for September 2016 to hunt in the Koyukuk NWR. I don't know how I will, make the wait until September, as waiting for January to know if i draw a tag for the hunt is killing me. My question is have any of you fine fellas ever hunted with Virgil, and if so what can I expect to see?

I haven't hunted with Virgil but I did hunt the Koyukuk and had a phenomenal time. Lots of moose including some real whoppers. Do yourself a favor and read, "Shadows on the Koyukuk" before you go.

Got to meet Sidney Huntington while at the airport in Galena. Amazing man and even more amazing story. Was a great hunt and experience but not with your outfitter.
