I used Travel Guard in 2012 for my africa trip. I had to cancel at the last min due to my daughter being diagnosed with leukemia. They along with my travel agent saved my butt.

You won't need it, unless you really, really need it. Then it will be the best money you ever spent.

Travel Guard is great trip insurance. For health I would recommend Medjet Assist. They will evacuate you from anywhere to a hospital of your choice anywhere in the world.
