Would this be considered a "goog" lion? I know nothing about these Africa aminals. And yes, a gun kill, live with it.

Should have it made it clearer, not my lion. Friend of mine killed it. I do Africa, all you can hunt is spikes and stuff I can't afford.

Great looking cat. But if shot in SA it is probably farmed.

That is absolutely, undoubtedly a farm raised lion hunted under a high fence. Beautiful cat, but no way in hell is that a wild, unfenced lion. For one thing, a mane that blond comes from selective breeding, something you'll never find in the wild.
Now, all that said, if the hunter is happy with it and knew what kind of hunt he was engaged in, then good for him. Just don't pretend it was something it was not, a wild, unfenced lion hunt. If I'm going to make an educated guess, it is probably a lion from Timbavati, which is a large private reserve abutting Kruger Park on the west. They are well known for 'white lions'.

So let me see if I get this straight. This is a pen raised, selectively bread lion, shot behind a close fence with a rifle.
Sounds like a Bowsite topic to me!
That being said, he looks like he's happy with his critter, so good for him.

Most wild lions have battle scares of some sort on their faces.
