Just an update to an option we have now on 3 of our packages for 2014. While we still have our listed animal specific packages we now can allow the option of buying a package that, instead of specific game, allows a specific monetary amount towards trophy fees. Basically, these are 3 of our existing packages broken down by applying the trophy fee amounts to the package instead of the specific animal, to wit:
SafariPak 1 "Sharpshooter Pkg" 7 Days...$2995 ($1275 TFs)
SafariPak 2 "Bushbuster Pkg" 7 Days...$3495 ($1825 TFs)
SafariPak 3 "Superbow Pkg" 10 Days...$5495 ($3375 TFs)
To clarify, the Superbow Package for $5495 includes $3375 in trophy fees. We've pretty much always allowed this as our packages are very flexible but now you can see how the money breaks down. This policy allows you to shoot what you want within the TF amount and saves you quite a bit on daily rates.

Ken,
How did the 2013 season go? Any photos or reports?
Thanks,

2015 baby......Carolina boy is coming back
Ken, I have not been to Africa in 10 years. Have the larger plains game fees doubled in price, ie.Kudu, Gemsbok, Nyala? And how is your packages that include at least one of these animals?
Thanks, Mike
I do need to clarify that the above listed packages are for the Limpopo only, hunting from our base camp there.
Ron...love to have you hunt with us. Be sure to email or PM me here if you have any further questions.
Dangerous Dan Conrad...I don't know if I can take another round of the "Bula Bula Boys" but maybe with a few sedatives I can make it thru :) In truth you guys were one of my favorite groups. I would really like to see you again so I'm looking forward to it.
Dennis...In some cases the TFs have greatly increased on certain species. I have packages that include all of the animals you listed or, as stated above, you can book a hunt that includes a specific dollar amount to be used towards TFs on anything.
Anyone interested can go to www.kenmoody.com or click on the site at the banner above this thread and see all of our rates and packages.

Kudu, bushbuck, gemsbok and a stud impala are on my hit list brother Ken....and maybe a white blesbok
Bula bula boys, LOL. Im still reliving the memories, and still waiting to pick up my 3 mounts. There done, but are 12 hrs away. I hope to get them next month. I too will be back one day.
Thanks Ken; must be one of THE best value hunts in Southern Africa
Well, Kenneth, you would know :)
Heck yes...I just need to convince my fiancee that our honeymoon next year should be spent bowhunting at Dunsappie ;-)
Hey Ken, I definitely want to return to Africa. It's a unique and amazing experience. On the way home last time, I was able to talk with other hunters about their camps. One group said that they had a camp cook that had the grill running every night, and they could choose what game they wanted that night. They also had an open bar.
I have decided that when I return to South Africa, I will look for something like that. Having the option to taste what you shot really ads to the hunt. Sharing a "sundowner" with other hunters over tails of their day is also part of the Africa experience.
Do your camps in South Africa now include the above amenities?
Well, Kenneth you're about a decade too late for a return to Dunsappie. I sold my farm in '06. We are now hunting just below the Soutpansberg Mountains.
David, we'd love to have you back hunting with us. We have a fully stocked open bar with about a dozen different beers and a full assortment of wines, brandies, bourbons, etc., etc. Anything you can think of. All of our dinner meals are wild game and include dessert. I don't think you can find anyone that's hunted with us in the past few years that can complain about the food.
Ken
Great Ken. I'm looking forward to it:-)
Ken, My wife, Allison, and I are very excited to experience Africa in 2014 and all that it has to offer.
I really like this offer.I hope you keep it as an option.I plan to go back in a few years when my youngest son can shoot enough bow weight.I think i'm about 3 years out for that. With this offer,I can shoot some of the animals I'm interested in that aren't in a package.I took 6 animals last trip but would really like to focus on some of the little ones, and maybe waterbuck and bushbuck Please keep this available into the future. Its a great idea
Yes, I plan on offering the trophy fee option in the future. We've actually always done it and allowed guys to swap animals etc. but I don't advertise it that way. You have to be careful with package hunts in Africa as many are a "bait and switch" proposition whereby you buy the package for specified animals only to find that some of those animals listed either don't exist on the property or are in such numbers that your chances of bagging them are slim. In lieu of the package species you are "encouraged" to shoot other off package species for full trophy fee while receiving no consideration for those on the package you didn't bag. Classic bait and switch and a bit too common in Africa. By allowing the full monetary value of the package species trophy fees as an option, you can just shoot what you want.

Come by and see us in Vegas if you're attending SCI. We're in booth 4743.
Ken
Africa...what a dream trip...if only I were rich
Africa...oh wait, at those prces even a working stiff could swing it!
Ken, do ya need a camp cook? lol
Ken...If you want me to repay you the dinner I owe you, (it is my turn) you are going to have to drive over to Reno to the Sheep Show...
Fuzzy, you better save your cooking for Clarkrange :)
Corey, it's about a days drive between Vegas and Reno so it looks like you're safe for another year. Too bad you're not coming to SCI. Once you get over your sheep bug let me know.
Ken
dang! always my luck! ;-)
Just got back from Reno and have the "bug" worse now than ever before :)...I'd still love to get that Leopard hunt in some day...just don't know when at this point...The "sheep" have me booked out to 2017!
Shameless Plug: Anyone wanting to experience Africa with an experienced, honest outfit, do NOT hesitate to book with Ken. I've done about 5 hunts with Ken and every single one of them has been a fantastic adventure.
