My name is Dan Leahy a.k.a. Firehuntfish here on the Forum. I would like to briefly introduce myself and my affiliation with Limcroma Safaris, a new Bowsite sponsor and outfitter.
My wife and I have been fortunate enough to have hunted Africa many times in the last several years. We have hunted Namibia, Botswana, and pretty much every Province of South Africa. We have hunted with a couple of different outfitters, yet for us, none of them has impressed us like Limcroma. Over our years of great hunting experiences with them, my wife and I have become dear friends with Hannes Els, the owner, as well as many of his PH's and staff.
For many years, I have been proud to act as a reference for Limcroma Safaris. Most recently, I have been able to convince my friend Hannes to become a Bowsite sponsor. Hannes has asked me to be his representative here on Bowsite which I will do with great pride and pleasure. I'm not an African hunting expert by any means, but I have learned most of the do's & dont's when traveling in Africa, and it would be my pleasure offer advice or assistance to anyone planning an African adventure. Even if Limcroma is not your outfitter of choice, don't hesitate to contact me. I love to talk hunting, and it would be my pleasure to help if I can....
For anyone interested in planning the best hunting experience of your life, check out Limcroma Safaris here on their Bowsite link. They have a great bowhunting package they are extending for the 2014 season. My wife and I along with a couple of our bowhunting buddies hunted this package on our last hunt this past August. It's an incredible deal that I can personally recommend.
Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself. I will look forward to hopefully hunting with some of you in the greatest bowhunting destination in the world...And again, feel free to PM me any time with questions...

Wild1, Limcroma does not post their pricing on the website. Hannes Els, the owner, prefers to establish communication with each prospective client first to find out exactly what his or her specific desires and expectations will be. From there, we can put forth a custom proposal for each client based specifically on the type of safari they are looking for...Personal attention is the cornerstone upon which Limcroma has built their business, and Hannes takes great pride in making sure each client is treated like the only client... We do, however, have a price list that I can send to anyone interested if that's what is preferred.
Kind regards, Dan L.

Thanks to everyone here on Bowsite who has made inquirues regarding a future safari with Limcroma. I believe I have answered all of the PMs to date, and I encourage you to keep them coming. We have already had a couple of Bowsiters take advantage of the Family & Friends group package, and we still have lots of excellent dates available for 2014. Give us a shout, and Hannes or myself would be glad to put a custom proposal together for you.
Just to expand a bit on some of the more common questions being asked....
Although Limcroma Safaris is new to Bowsite.com, they are not a new outfitter by any means. Limcroma is one of the most respected & well established African outfitters in the business. Hannes Els, the owner, is a third generation PH. The Els family now has nearly 250,000 acres of prime hunting habitat that is either family owned or exclusively managed for Limcroma.
Limcroma is not a rifle hunting outfitter that merely offers bowhunting. Hannes and his staff of PHs are all avid bowhunters themselves. They understand the special needs of bowhunters, and they have the experience and expertise necessary to create the right set ups that offer the greatest opportunity possible.
Hannes also happens to be one of the best Dangerous Game PHs in the business. They offer DG bow hunts in RSA, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Namibia. Over the years Limcroma clients have taken countless Dangerous Game trophy animals with a bow. So, whether you are looking for that first African plansgame safari or you want to pursue the Big 5 with a bow, Limcroma will exceed your expectations in every way...
Thanks again for your interest, Best Regards, Dan L.
If I had the opportunity to change anything at all it would be that I get to hunt free every year. Nothing else to improve.
Glad to see Limcroma as a sponsor.

I have conversed with you on the forum before....A while back, I remember that you were looking to hunt a new province for some different species. Did you ever plan your hunt?
Best regards, Dan L.
As great an operation as Hannes runs, we had to go a different direction to get the species that suited all three of us.
We all wanted to go with Limcroma, but were not able to for next year. We'll probably be back in a couple of years.
You just can't go wrong with Limcroma.

I have had lots of interest in the "Friends & Family" group hunting package. This is one of Limcroma's most popular packages, and that's why Hannes is extending it into 2014. There are also great dates and rates to match for hunting the shoulder months of March, April, September, and October....These times of the year can be some of the best hunting with little to no pressure.
I know that everyone is in the Fall hunting mode here in the U.S., but it's not too early to start planning a 2014 African hunt. PM anytime with questions.
Regards, Dan L.
