Beginning of the month went on a 8 day safari with Huntershill safaris, they are located on the east cape of South Africa near Queenstown. First off let me say this was our first Safari to Africa so our expectations were very high! HuntersHill staff made sure they EXCEEDED all our expectations! We purchased the father son package which included 10 animals including a trophy gemsbok and a trophy Kudu, as well as 4 other species. While there they greatly discounted other animals including kudu, wildebeast, zebra, heartabeast and eland. Talk about a target rich environment! My son and I took all 10 animals in our package as well as 2 heartabeast, a blue wildebeest and a eland. When trying to decide where we wanted to go the number one item on our list was allowing bowhunters to spot and stalk or still hunt as well as blind hunt. I did not want to spend all my time sitting in a blind waiting for Africa to come to me! Huntershill was all about letting us move on the animals! Our group of 8 bowhunters took 38 animals! The majority of them spot and stalk! What a blast! Anyway, just wanted to share if anyone is looking for a place to hunt Africa, this is the place!

A great adventure for sure. Not sure I could do the shark dive though. Spot & stalk hunting in Africa with a bow is the pinnacle of cool. Congratulations again. When you going back?
