Successful trip with Dare to Bowhunt

My wife and I made our second journey to the dark continent to hunt with our friend Lammie Potgieter of Dare to Bowhunt. Last year, we hunted his Zululand property and greatly enjoyed it, but decided to give his Kimberly area a try this time around to see a bit of different scenery, and a different mixture of critters. My wife's grandfather and uncle also joined us on the trip (their first) which was cool to experience it all with them. Lammie and crew do an excellent job at taking care of everyone and making sure we were in the best spots for the animals we were wanting to hunt. Anyhow, here's a few pictures from our trip.

STICKFLICKER, as far as which property to choose would honestly come down to what animals a person would really like to try and get. The Zululand property was awesome and is loaded with animals. The Kimberly area has a whole different look and several more species than Zululand. If interest in certain species though, I'd definitely talk with Lammie and see about which place he'd recommend. For example, if you have your heart set on a big nyala or impala, Zululand would be your best bet, even though Kimberly has them both, the numbers aren't as high there. On the flip side, if you'd like to shoot a gemsbuck or eland, Kimberly would your best bet. Honestly, if I had to pick one over the other, I'd just have to flip a coin!
GHOSTBIRD, I was shooting a GW Flanagan 3piece 54lbs@28".
KEITH, the kudu measured out just above 55" which was a mammoth of a bull for that area. Originally before we went, he'd said he wasn't interested in shooting a kudu, but I had a suspicion after he saw one in person that he'd have a change of heart. Pretty sure he made the right decision to shoot!
