Elk Head Mount Pictures?

Guys,
Can any of you show some pics of elk mounts? I was lucky this year and am getting a shoulder mount. Looking for my options. He didn't bugle so that won't be an option. Thanks,
JJJ
Thanks guys, not a bad one in the bunch! Keep them coming!

WapitiBob,
Thanks. I kinda like it myself.
Nva,
How about a shot to the left there...I see a little tine trying to show itself ;~)
Shrewski,
Here's a somewhat better picture of what that tine belongs to.
Nice animals and momentos.
Nvagvup....Out of curiosity, what is the height of your ceiling in that pic. Also, is the shoulder mounted elk bulging with his mouth open. I'm also trying to figure out how to mount my 07' elk and am looking for some ideas.
JT3,
I'll respond later today when I get home so that I can measure the ceiling.
Heres the bull I shot last year with my recurve.
bohntr,
How high is your ceiling?
Big J
My ceiling is 12,'3." The beams drop 11" down from that.
Ideally, I'd have a 16' ceiling, then everything, esp. that elk, would show far better. But when we built this room (an addition) we could only go down, not up (There was already a room above where we built this room.) But to go down would have been outragously expensive. There would have been extensive engineering costs involved, and the drilling and digging would have had to been done with hand-held tools, as there's no way to get heavy equipment up from behind our house.
I like the open mouth. A lot more natural than the other ones I have.

My wife wanted the living room painted...great timing, right at the start of deer season ;~(...when I get my mounts back up, I'll get another post here for you.
What height are you dealing with?
My basement trophy room has 9' ceilings. I don't have a ton of places because I already have several other mounts in the room. I like nvagvup's mount because I think it will lower the horns a little. I have seen several of the 90 degree turns and they look good but I'm not sure I want that. I think it takes away from the enormity of the animals. I also like the straight out pose as well. Does anyone know about how far off the floor an elk will be on a 9 or 8' ceiling? Thanks guys.
Big J I think my ceiling in my office is 12ft.
