Lets see your elk mounts or hero pictures, include some scores if you know them. The wait to find out if I draw is killing me. To make it worse the most exciting thing on BS is checking in to see how long it takes the self proclaimed turkey master to see a turkey.
Include stories if you want anything to help time pass.
"Lets see you mounts"
I thought TBM started this thread.
My wife won't let me put her pics on-line!
Lol sorry I caught it too late and don't see a way to edit topics. My writing isn't great by any stretch but I hope it is nothing like the Turkey Masters.
The inuendo is making it difficult to focus.
Here you go. Took me several years to draw the permit but it was worth it.
I saw this in a friend's office the other day. I call it "Turkey that attempted to land but missed and ended up with a stick up his arse". At first thought that based on the protrusion between his legs he was well endowed but I think its part of the limb.
sportsorbetter, congrats on your "once in a lifetime" permit draw, just wondering if you were successful! Lol

I'll try to help you out LINK, and get your thread back on topic.
NE New Mexico, taken in 1990 or 1991, I cant remember exactly. My first ever western bowhunt. Sorry about this first photo, it was obviously taken long before I learned anything about field photography!
I recently had the old mount re-mounted by Jim Kelly of Ringoes, NJ.
Nice mounts spots & Busta!
Thanks Spots. Totally lost my concentration for the day. You win!

awesome bull cajanhunter,,, love that pic and bull!
Busta, that is an incredible mount! How big is that bull? Cajun, did I meet you in CO in Unit 40? You look familiar
Stud bull Cajun! don't see much in deductions there! beautiful coat on him too!
Frank that's possibly cause I did kill that bull in 40 on the Lewis ranch. I hunted on the land that is leased to a veterinarian buddy of mine from Mississippi.
He's at the taxidermist right now getting mounted. Should have him back in a couple more weeks.
My 360" gross Colorado bull from 2013, I just got him back.
My house isn't big enough...
MtCH- How tall are your ceilings? Are the antlers removable? How did you get them in to the house (If antlers aren't removable)? My "trophy" area looks somewhat similar.
I won't get an elk mounted until I kill one big enough. Don't ask me how big, (I don't go by score). I'll know it when I see it and wrap my hands around his antlers! Both of you mounts are "big enough"!
Z,
My ceilings are only 8 feet. The antlers are not removeable. I brought them in through a sliding patio door off of my kitchen/dining room. I can't put them in any other room because they won't fit down a hallway or through a doorway.
That photo is where I had them hanging when I first got the 2013 bull back. The brisket on the big one is only about 18" off the floor. It stuck out too far into the room over a loveseat when I had it hanging here so I moved the one on the left (from 2011) into the split-level entryway (right of the photo) and moved the big one over to where the lamp shade is in the photo, on the adjacent wall. I had to move my first bull from 1998 out of the entryway and into the basement, it barely fit down the stairs.
This guy scored 340 gross/333 net.
Mike, I just pawn mine off on neighbors with high ceilings who hunt a lot but never kill anything "mountable". When I visit, I get to see them and appreciate them again, and someone always wants to know the story.
Taking one to a neighbor tomorrow to make room for the 2013 model.
Just finished the basement last week.
This guy is about 330 gross.
Here is my 1st Elk bow kill from last year. I got him tanned and he is at the taxidermist. Should get him back soon!
That chick's left boob is way bigger than her right boob.
Idll
For sure. Her net score will suffer
And unfortunately she has an unsighlty mole. You can't see it in the picture.
After the crappy comments I would be surprised if jrb(CO)responds! Here is a photo of my White Nevada bull. David
That white bull is awesome
Very nice mounts and great bulls ! Here's my best Colorado bull.
