Crap. The credit card company just issued me a new card, with a new card number. So now I have to call or somehow change my card on file for Montana, Nevada and Utah.

And, I guess I'll have to call New Mexico and update as well, so the refund gets to me.

Damn. Card didn't even expire for over a year.

The old card shouldn't be invalidated until the new card is activated. Just don't activate it.

Yep, as long as there is nothing wrong with the old card. In UT, they will try 5 times for the card to go through if you draw. Then they will call to see if there is a different card you can use.

Had the same thing happen to me with UT last year. I called and that is what they told me. I corrected the issue and on the 3rd try it went through. Guess that's what I get for keeping a low spending limit on a card...

Check your statement. MT charged your card when you applied.

NM charged my card a week ago.

It is easy to call and give the new card number, at least in NV and UT it is.

I got them all figured out and updated, except New Mexico. NM charged my card, but I'm not sure how that will work with a refund and different card number.

Maybe they'll send you a check and you'll get your CC points.
