Actually, it still only mentions the previous draw is available, not the current elk/antelope draw.. At least on the draw results lookup page I am looking at.

On the main AZGFD.com, it pops up with "Draw results available! check online or by phone for hunt draw results for elk and pronghorn antelope."

There were more tags dropping down to the 1-2 pass this year from my initial count. 64 last year and over 70 this year. There will be a few more happy hunters that drew without max points.

Its official. I got nothing, but will playing guide big-time as my dad was drawn for Bull and my son was drawn for cow in the same unit! Congrats to them. This will be some fun.

My friend and I put in for the same archery hunt on seperate tags. We both drew. Since it's an over the counter archery deer unit, we'll be deer and elk hunting in the same unit this year. Doesn't get much better than that. Heck yeah.

I drew 19a archery antelope with the season Aug. 8 - 21 and if I put in for the strip ( I have 17 points ) and I draw that tag too, the season would start the day antelope ends.
If I wait until next year the odds go down for me drawing with new change in tag distribution.
What to do ?

I enjoyed my AZ hunt so much last year that I tried to draw a cow tag in the same unit this year. I thought for sure with 2 pts., I would draw. It did not happen. Best part is that I now have three points and hopefully another AZ bull in the future.

Wow, I drew an Arizona elk tag- Woo Hoo!!!!! Back to Back years a non res bull tag...I can't believe it. 11M this year, not the greatest unit but hey, its a tag.....gotta go buy some lotto tix- grin

6A archery. When they hit the CC I was happy. But, with the posting, I'm jumping for joy!!!!!!!! What we live for, what we live for. Now, just need to stay alive until after the hunt, 9-26-14. Yea, baby! And, the Giants won their home opener and are in 1st place, sorry AZ. The frickin stars are lining up!

don't quote me on it glass eye...but I read somewhere (cant remember where I saw it) that if the changes are made to the tag distribution it wont be implemented until the 2016 draw. if that is true that would help your plan out. congrats on lope tag!

5 mins after I found out I drew az. I did my Nevada app. Just did bonis points for deer. But I did put in for Ca Bighorn and Nelson Sheep. Only Iowa left to do.

Thank you Arizona!! Two incredible elk hunts after 21 years of applying as a nonresident. More than my share. You guys don't have any idea how grateful I am.

Thanks AZdog. My thoughts expressed are genuine. I'm a trophy hunter and hope to get a big bull, but it's not critical that I do. Its not that I am not super serious and intense, but I just want to have a tag in my pocket in an area with big bulls and be able to chase em for two weeks. Heaven on earth. I just love to hunt where the big boys live. Sometimes it works out and I get lucky but I always have a great experience.
Fair warning, I'll be stinkin' up your state plenty this summer scouting. I have already marked my calendar and there are a lot of days in unit 1 on it!
I hope to cross paths with some AZ bowsiters this summer and fall.
