Congrats to Lou for a great elk hunting article in Bow and Arrow Hunting magazine. If you haven't read it... get a copy of the May/June issue.

Thanks, fnshtr. It was really a challenging hunting adventure that turned out ok. :-)
Lots of folks have been asking for the report on our CO Unit 2 hunt from last fall. I couldn't post much on the Bowsite because of the story I was writing. Glad you enjoyed it!

I was late to the party as that issue got placed on the bottom of my stack. But late or not, I thoroughly enjoyed the article. I do a lot of " skimming " in the hunting mags, but I read this one through and through. Great job ! And great bulls !

I enjoyed it as well. There was more take-home elk info in that article than any other magazine article about elk I've ever read. Seemed longer than most "I showed up, hiked, called, and killed" articles too :)
