Definetly. FYI, a good general rule of thumb for total arrow weight for an elk is 6.6 x draw weight.

Last years elk died to a 350 hunter.

The 350s will work , but last year I switched to pile drivers 13 grains per inch.my setup is 72lb 29draw 460 grain arrow lethal on elk !!!!.

350 will work fine if you are 450+ in total arrow weight. Also, check the CE arrow spine chart. If you are on the edge between a 350 and 450, the 450 will absorb the energy of your bow a lot more. Good luck.

CX Maxima Hunter 350 with 100grain VPA non vented. Arrow penetrated all the way threw but was broken by the off shoulder. 50 yard death run and piled up.

Good Luck

They way you worded the question I would say yes, but I would probably say yes if the target animal was an elephant too because ibwould bet that arrow tipped with a Simmons would reach an elephants heart with easy if no ribs were hit. That definitely doesn't mean I think it is best. That is a pretty light arrow andbhasva tendancy to snap right behind the incert. You can make it a lot better by adding 100 grain brass inverts which are twice the length as regular inverts. The added wt would assist in penetration too.
