Thinking of trying more of a timberline hunt next year. What are some the changes that need to be made when thinking about access and how to hunt elk at timberline?

How well do you handle the altitude and can you get it out once it is on the ground.
Afternoon thunderstorms can cut the day short as well.
Early in the season is when we get on them at or above timberline. I will hunt up high as long as my body can do it
