Ok guys I'm starting my research again. Been to nm in. 2011. Great time great experience but very few elk. I'm looking for a guided hunt. I'm not after the biggest bull in the world , I'm lookin for a decent respectable bull. Although they are all except able I'm not lookin for a 3x3 or. 4x4. I'm lookin for a decent bull one is hang on my wall . Here's the part that will make u all cringe. I'm open to hunt with any weapon so if you got some good advice I look forward to hearing your thoughts . Thanks in advance . Joe p

I would suggest using a small nuclear warhead that will wipe out at least 100 sq miles...that way you can possible kill a wallhanger elk and muly in my he same shot. Consult the warhead on forehead guys for the right caliper for the job. Warning: fixed head guys might give you a hard time.

Contact Jim and Kelly Welles JFW Ranch Consulting. Tell them what you want to do and they will guide you through the application process. They have lots of different hunts available. If you don't get drawn then start looking for a land owner permit. They are always available all it takes is time & money. Price varies on unit and ranch only or unit wide. Jim & Kelly are a great resource start with them. You could get a land owner authorization and hunt this year.

PM sent. That's a pretty high budget really. I assume that's just for the hunt and license? For that kid of money you should be able to find a good hunt. Taxidermy not included.

My buddy has an unbelievable place with a great track record. His bow hunters are 100% on bulls 300" or better, and no this isn't a fenced in hunt. They are wild WY bulls, and you will see 10-20 bulls over 300 inches every day! If that interests you send me a PM.
Here's my bull from 2012.

For that kind of money I'd buy a unit wide land owner tag in the Gila(15,16's) and do it myself.

I have used the R&k hunting company many times and they are awesome, got elk hunts in Wyoming, Utah, and montana. tags are easy to draw in their areas with private land.
