where is that - AZ? Why can't I find an area like that? Couple of toads, and you could hear other bulls screaming nearby. Damn they bring that headgear to bear quickly. Did the video end because the one in the highway got hit?

The video make me wonder if a large mirror set up in the right location could be used as a decoy. Just pull back the cover at the right time and instant elk. In the meantime a good portable decoy will be as good as it gets.

i was thinking maybe a national park but not Ystone cuz the traffic is cruising right by (including semis by the sound) and tourons live for this stuff - there'd be a traffic jam and at least one touron on foot getting way too close. plus Ystone roads doen't have good shoulders in my experience (although could be out of park somewhere nearby). the elk were such hogs I figured somewhere with ++ genetics i.e. AZ
