Wyoming Archery Bull

My son shot this bull Saturday morning. Bulls were cowed up but screaming and racking trees. Watched the display for 40 minutes before he stepped out and my son smoked him at 35 yards.

Sometimes things just work out. I was archery antelope hunting in Colorado, shot a buck Thursday then drove to Sheridan to meet Matt at the airport at noon Friday. Matt only had a few days to hunt...he is a college baseball player and had team commitments in Texas on Tuesday giving us only 3 days to make it happen. We met my friend and guide Jim, drove to the hunt area, called in and passed a rag horn at 8 yards then missed a 20 yard opportunity on the big bull .....he came in behind us and didn't offer a good shot before he caught a scent and left. Disappointed in the missed chance but excited for the next morning.....
