Checking out of the office today - Heading to Idaho - Pioneer unit.
will be hunting Saturday morning for the next week or so.
This will be my first Hunt in Idaho - hopefully the rut will be getting kicked off.

I am flying out Saturday morning for the same Unit. My 3rd time hunting it. My buddy and I have killed 2 bulls in two years so running about 50% success (though I consider it 100%, team effort this elk hunting stuff). Bringing my dad along with us this year, hope the mountains are kind to us. We usually stay a night on the front and back end in Ketchum and grab a good steak at the Pioneer Saloon, if it is your first visit to the area, Ketchum is a nice town and their are elk around there if your willing to work.
