Mathew's LX cable string

I went out shooting yesterday and noticed that the cable string on my Mathew's LX is frayed. Unfortunately the days are ticking down on the limited elk tag that took years to draw. I dropped my bow by Jax's in Fort Collins yesterday and the guy said he wouldn't be able to build one for another week. I'm not sure if the guy misunderstood me or what but I am wondering if I should be able to pick up a cable string somewhere in the Fort Collins-Denver area and immediately put on my bow? Thanks for any suggestions!

I don't live in that area but my bow shop would put a string on right now if I had a LE tag, he makes his own strings.

Shouldn't be a big deal, buy one online and have it shipped over night or just take it to another bow shop. Lot of string makers online that have good strings and cables all made up..... IMO...Put on a string and a cable on at the same time.

Yes, replace both string and cable at the same time. I agree on having on overnighted to you.
