Utah has an OTC Spike/Cow Elk tag for $296. This is a three week season and lots of fun. Enjoyed hunting Utah and hope to go back! C
Filming your kill shot by yourself is not easy so the video is not perfect but is real world!

Shot the Spike at 7 PM. Did the gutless method and took out the front legs (boned out), neck and back straps that evening and got to camp at 9 pm. Down hill .75 of a mile to my truck. Went back the next morning and boned out the hind quarters and packed out the rest of the meat and drove right to the processor! Great fun!

Had 40 pounds of sticks made which should help me snack my way through a long whitey season:)
