My dream is an diy archery elk hunt. I finally have about all of the equipment I need to get started. I was hoping to find someone with some experience in Colorado area 37 who would be willing to share some information with me. In return I would be happy to share information on places to bow hunt whitetail here in Iowa.

Lot of private land and cabins in that unit! There are elk there, but wouldn't be my choice driving all the way from Iowa. Make sure you have a GPS that shows private/public land boundaries.

There are elk there. This year opening day in one basin there were 13 hunters all meeting all glassing each other at dawn. There were no elk in that basin, they moved.
