Which dates Unit 27 Colorado

1st time Elk hunter - going on guided elk hunt to unit 27 north of Kremmling Colorado. I have 2 dates to choose from Sept 9-13 or 23-27 (2015). It prolly doesn't matter but thought I would get some opinions.

My first choice would have been the week between those two. If not available I would hunt SEP9-SEP13 and get a jump on the Muzzy hunters.

I agree with Tracker and Scoot. I've hunted that unit my whole life and the first couple weeks before muzzleloader is when we have the best luck getting into them, after muzzleloader it's hit and miss. If you're hunting private or leased ground probably doesn't matter as much though. Just my 2 cents. Best of luck.

If there was a definitive answer, that would be the week that EVERYONE would go... That said, I like later in the year for first timers.

Both! ...and the week in between! 5 days isn't enough time to be in the elk mountains!

If the outfitter guides muzzy hunters, I'd go the earlier week. Best of luck!
