I haven't posted a photo thread here on the Bowsite in years. BB is posting less as well, so I'll fan the flames with a short little photo essay of some of our favorite wild animals and a few others thrown in for good measure.
The horses are wild mustangs and all images have been photographed within the borders of the great state of Wyoming.
For those in the Northeast buried in snow and those in the West fighting an early case of spring fever, here's a little pacifier to carry you through the next week or two. Longer days and warmer nights are coming and before we know it, it'll be time to head into the wildlands once again. Until then, enjoy!

Camera info: Canon line--most of these captured with 7D or now 7D Mark II. Some photographed with 5D Mk III.
Lens for all but one of these images was a Sigma 300-800mm f5.6.
