Look like mainbeams to me and I'm also guessing they're beams based upon the whaletail thread name... Long main beams that flare downward are commonly refered to as whaletails.

Bigdan had the biggest 5x I'd ever seen .... (NV I think?) until now....
Still has the biggest I've seen on the ground with a hunter on board though..... love that shot....=D
